In July 2013, the very same month Croatia joined the European Union, the first issue of tip Travel Magazine — the first Croatian online magazine about travel and tourism — saw the light of day. In a year deeply defined by the digitalization of tourism, the vision of a small but enthusiastic team of creatives — who are passionate about writing, photography, and, above all, travel — standing behind the project, was to create Croatia's first digital travel magazine. Our goal was never just to pin a destination on a map, but to bring its true spirit and authenticity to life through editorial features, experiential stories, inspiring photography, and engaging design — ultimately motivating you to visit and explore it for yourself. We are driven by that exact same purpose today. Through the magazine, we want to take you a step further than traditional tourist routes, because we believe every place is worth a visit and has a story of its own — waiting to be uncovered.
Alongside in-depth journalistic features, the magazine uncovers lesser-known highlights, introduces the latest travel trends, and delivers news from the world of tourism and travel, event previews worth traveling for, as well as first-hand ideas, tips, and recommendations.

From day one, tip Travel Magazine has remained true to its exclusively digital form, available to all readers as a gift, completely free of charge. It has been published in Croatian and English since July 2013, with a German edition added in 2015 — simply because the market demanded it. In addition to this website, the magazine is available to read directly on the popular digital publishing platforms Issuu.com and FlipHTML5.com (both free of charge) for all their users and fellow travelers among them.
